Kallesten has defended a doctoral degree at the Faculty of Science and Technology. Her research is about so-called permeability in chalk, in other words the flow in the rock.
The title of the dissertation is Permeability evolution in chalk linked to stress and thermochemical aspects of North Sea reservoir conditions.
Kallesten was affiliated with The National IOR Centre of Norway, which works to improve the recovery of petroleum resources on the Norwegian continental shelf.
She defended her dissertation December 16th 2020.
