About me

Hamid Cheraghali is a PhD candidate and research fellow in Finance at the University of Stavanger. His research interests are asset pricing, event prediction, and the application of machine learning to finance. He spent his first year of PhD at the Norwegian School of Economics. Hamid earned one MSc. in financial economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and another Master's in Business Administration from Eastern Mediterranean University (Cyprus).
