About me
I completed my PhD in 2017 at the Czech Technical University in Prague, followed by a short postdoc position at the Charles University in Prague. I was working as a postdoc at the University of Stavanger in the period of 2018-2023 and held another postdoc position in Bern in years 2023-2024. Since autumn 2024 I am back at the University of Stavanger, working on the project Uncovering the nature of dark matter in the multi-messenger era funded by the Research Council of Norway.
My research
I am working in particle physics phenomenology, in particular, I am interested in following topics:
- Dark matter and physics beyond Standard Model
- Gravitational waves from phase transitions in the early Universe
- Physics of strong interactions
Currently, I am focusing on strongly coupled dark matter and possible signatures for gravitational-wave experiments as well as on further possibilities how to probe the nature of dark matter. In the past, I was trying to describe the state of matter that might appear in the cores of neutron stars: extremely dense matter in a strong magnetic field or I was studying the so-called grand-unified theories where the strong and electroweak interactions are unified to single force.
