The project course will contain topics at advanced level in Environmental Science and Technology. The course intends to bring the student to the research front in the selected topics.
Learning outcome
After completing the course, the student shall have sufficiently detailed knowledge to be at the research front within the field and will be able to perform thorough research and development within the specific topic.

Recommended prerequisites
According to admission requirements for PhD in Chemistry and Biosciences. Final year master students may also be accepted to the course on the conditions of the appointed supervisors approval.

8 hours of project work per week. There are no ordinary lectures in this course; each student will receive independent supervision over a selected syllabus by the appointed supervisor.

Course assessment
There must be an early dialogue between the course supervisor, the student union representative and the students. The purpose is feedback from the students for changes and adjustments in the course for the current semester.In addition, a digital subject evaluation must be carried out at least every three years. Its purpose is to gather the students experiences with the course.
