Parasjuk

Parasjuk is an line association for students taking a bachelor´s degree in nursing, paramedicin, as well as all associated master's / further educations at the Faculty of Health Sciences UiS. The line association is run by volunteer students. We want to work for a better student environment, inclusion and interdisciplinary collaboration. The purpose of the line association is to promote the health subjects at the University of Stavanger and to facilitate the promotion of students' academic needs through health and social-relevant gatherings.

Our goal is to add activities of different content during each semester:

• Subject evenings with academic content - both with internal and external speakers.
• Collaboration with other line associations and student associations.
• Tours - eg outdoor tours, cabin tours, tent tours
• Activities - eg: surfing, curling, climbing, paintball, go-karting, quiz night.
• Maintenance of sports teams, eg football teams.

All active students in bachelor's and master's / further education in health, nursing and paramedics at the University of Stavanger are automatically members of the line association.
