Sosiologistudentenes Forening (Association of Sociology Students) works to maintain the rights of the sociology students. We want to create engagement on and around campus. We arrange social gatherings and scholarly events regularly to create better unity among all who study sociology. Our goal is to have at least one social event for our members each month. Everyone who studies sociology, whether bachelor, year study or those who take individual courses, is to be considered a member of SSF. Previously, we have arranged: quiz night, Halloween party, painting night (sip n 'paint), career sofa, monthly Wednesday meeting for the students and party in the buddy week. Nevertheless, we always try to come up with new cool things to arrange for our students. Our number of members varies slightly from year to year, but tends to be just over 300 members. We want to be an attractive line association for our students and want to have a good dialogue and good cooperation not only with the students, but also with the department.
