Conservative Students Stavanger consists of conservative and liberal students. The purpose of Conservative Students is to promote understanding of a conservative view of society, especially at the higher education institutions. Conservative students work for a liberal-conservative policy that organizes students ideologically, socially and politically. The organization is under both the conservative party in Norway and the Young Conservatives, but we also have our disagreements with the party, where we want to take the Conservatives in a slightly different direction. As a member of Conservative Students, you get access to a national network of liberal-conservative students. You get the opportunity to participate in debates on topics that are important to you, whether it is study conditions, business policy, research policy, foreign and defense policy, environmental policy or health policy. Conservative Students have a number of social and academic events specially adapted for students at both local and national level. You will also have the opportunity to apply for participation in conferences abroad at many of our sister organizations in Europe. We also have several events where we want to create political engagement or just socializing without having to become a member. So follow us on Facebook and attend one of the many exciting events we have. There is no requirement for political competence to join the Conservative Students, we are just a bunch of students who think something political and want to make a difference.
