Muhammad Baqir Hashmi is currently working as a PhD Research Fellow at Institute of Energy and Petroleum Engineering, University of Stavanger, Norway. His research focus is on Numerical and Experimental Study of Hydrogen Fueled Gas Turbines. He completed a Masters by Research degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. During his masters, he was involved in an industry funded project "Transient Modeling and Simulation of Variable Geometry Industrial Gas Turbines". After completing his BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan, he served as a Metering Engineer in Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), Pakistan. His research work is published in peer reviewed international journals. His future research interests involve Gas Turbine's Performance, Turbomachinery, and Renewable Energy Systems.
